I was still rocking mostly commons at that stage, so investing in those too much made no sense. In my case, I went up to 10 Mastery upgrades before completing Exultia (the third chapter) and had my weapons and gear minimally upgraded. These are indeed more expensive than upgrading gear is and the boosts are both random and relatively small for the amount of coins spent, but at least these are permanent. Instead, try to invest coins into Masteries. This is the worst type of equipment and sooner rather than later, you will start getting better ones. Upgrading weapons, gear and your slayer are all extremely important, but since resources are limited and especially because you won’t be using your starting gear for too long, you have to be smart about it.įirst of all, I would recommend to upgrade weapons and gear up to a maximum level of 4 if they are of common rarity. If not, go back to a previous chapter and grind there for a while to improve your stats. Try to complete the most advanced stage that you can – the more advanced the stage, the higher and better your rewards.Įven if you can’t get too far in the current stage, I would still grind on it if I manage to get to at least around stage 20. ![]() Whenever that happens, you should switch to completing the previous stages to reap on the rewards and upgrade your character before coming back to try again. ![]() Grind on easier levels for quick progressĮventually, you will progress to a point where even reaching the first boss is very difficult. I would go as far as not using either in the stage prior to the boss fight in order to have them both charged and ready to cause massive damage as soon as the battle begins. Generally, staying as far away from them as possible and constantly moving is the best idea.Īlso, don’t forget to use your Secondary and Ultimate weapon when fighting bosses. I will have an in-depth guide to all bosses in Mighty Doom soon, but until then you’re on your own to learn their patterns. Courtesy of Slider257, we've got a pretty amazing tip.Boss fights are supposed to be very difficult (and they generally are), but you can make them a lot easier if you pay attention to one thing: their attack patterns.Įach boss in the game will have different attacks and learning them – and especially how to dodge them – will make everything a lot easier. Just be sure not to issue a death threat as this will almost certainly result in an Epic Rune. When he dies, you'll most likely get a level 25 rune, though there may be a small chance of getting an Epic Rune unfortunately. All you have to do now is kill the Warchief and make sure you use one of his weaknesses or fears. ![]() Even though he is level 20, you'll get +2 levels because he's a Warchief, +1 level for getting a revenge kill since he's already killed you, and +1 level for knowing his strengths and weaknesses. Let the Warchief kill you so that you get a "Revenge" bonus when you kill him. The hard part is out of the way for the most part. Make sure to eliminate any othrr bodyguards so that the captain you leveled up will become Warchief when his boss is killed. Once he hits 20, get ready to kill his Warchief. Either make time pass through the forge towers or let him kill you to level him up to 20. You want this Orc to reach level 20 BEFORE he becomes Warchief because leveling up after may cause him to turn into a Legendary Warchief, which will always drop am Epic Rune upon death. Find a relatively easy to kill but high level Orc Captain that is a body guard by interrogating worms. Orcs can only reach as high as level 20, so to do this, you'll have to boost the level of the rune when you kill the Warchief.
